Essence Fest 2019 - AT&T Dream In Black

AT&T’s Dream in Black is a fully integrated, insider-smart, always on content, entertainment property that celebrates the best that the culture has to share. First launched at
Essence Fest 2018, Dream in Black engages multi-cultural and Millennial audiences.

Essence Fest is the largest African-American music and culture festival in the US, held every July in New Orleans. To celebrate the 1st anniversary of our Dream in Black platform and
the 25th anniversary of Essence Fest, we knew we had to show up big. We activated over the 3-day event with an entirely custom footprint in the convention center, always on performances on our own Dream in Black stage, EF19 main stage content, constant social presence, insta-traps, video content and outreach throughout New Orleans. Our Afrotropolis themed convention footprint was one of the largest and most packed all weekend. Our content, photo opps and celebrity performances were some of the most
shared on social media using #DreamInBlack.
